George and Louie’s

Blake and I get to travel sometimes for our jobs and while it’s not always my first choice to be out of town at least I get to see different scenery for a while!

This restaurant is in Thomasville, GA and is one of my new favorite places. It has been family owned and operated since 1981. I took some of these pictures from their website and snapped a few on my visit.

The first thing I loved were the umbrellas and adirondack chairs.

Can’t you see yourself out here in the summer sipping a cool drink? I love the lower table perfect for lounging in good company. I mean I seriously think I want a set up like this on our back patio!

When you walk in it’s just so bright and open and clean feeling. It has that refined industrial vintage feel I so love.

I love the big chalkboards behind the counter.

Don’t you just want to create the dreamiest eat in kitchen with a market vibe? I do.

The chairs are great. I found the version below at World Market but you can find them everywhere these days.

I also love farmhouse lighting! and the tables, and the counter, and the molding and trim work, and the old windows. I love it all!

If you ever make a trip to Thomasville I would most definitely suggest stopping in to eat at George and Louie’s! The food was as impressive as the decor to me!
