Soap Solution

We talked about our hall bathroom mini makeover here. Things have been looking much cleaner and much more put together but there are still small details to be taken care of. Tonight when I got home from work our bathroom was just looking a little ransacked (remember we use this as our master bath so the two of us are scurrying around each morning trying to get ready. it’s a tornado.) I decided I was just going to put 15 minutes into cleaning and tidying before I sat down to start working again.

Naturally I got carried away and when my soap bottle wasn’t fitting in I had to do something about it. Blake and I both think the scented foam soaps from bath and body works are such a small luxury. Sure, it’s a little pricey for soap but you know it’s one of those small things that makes an oddly big difference in your day 🙂

Ok so you all know me and my best friend Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze spray paint like to hang out all the time and better the world one inanimate object at a time…

Look how much better we look now? No bright orange soap pump there anymore (and no one can tell we are still using pumpkin spice soap (that stuff seriously lasts FOREVER)

I’m debating putting some sort of H sticker on it or leaving it. I think I like that it just sort of blends in and maybe I don’t want to draw more attention to it. It is only a soap pump you know? ….5 minutes of my time and I have a handsome soap pump…and everyone needs a handsome soap pump.
